BAMF Girls Club is a Comediva Original Series that imagines what it would be like if famous heroines like Hermione Granger, Katniss Everdeen, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Bella Swan, Lisbeth Salander, and Michonne from The Walking Dead and more all lived together in one reality show house.
We launched the series as parody trailer that quickly went viral with features in Huffington Post, Entertainment Weekly, Nerdist, Jezebel, and dozens more publications, racking up 200K views.
On the heels of that success, we crowdfunded $12,500 and produced the full series, which now has 18 episodes with 1M+ views.
The series garnered distribution through Virgin Produced and can be seen on Virgin Airlines flights in their “Best of the Web” block.
We also created editorial and social tie-ins for Comediva.com, like “BAMF Girls Facebook Statuses,” “Lisbeth Salander’s Cookbook,” and even a set of collectible BAMF trading cards.
