Chachi’s Dance to Uforia includes a docu-style biography and a series of dance music videos, starring hip hop dancer/choreographer Chachi Gonzales, as she makes her way to perform at the Uforia Music Festival. Each dance video features music from popular artists performing at Uforia.
As consultants for Univision’s digital brand, Flama, Comediva was tasked with scouting potential talent, and building exciting web series around them. Chachi Gonzales was one of our favorite finds, a very talented artist and an online powerhouse with millions of followers.
As executive producers for the series, we tracked Chachi and her team down and walked them through our the vision of building a Flama series around Chachi and her dance skills. She and her team were incredibly excited to come onboard, and we’ve since become some of her favorite producers.
On Chachi’s Dance to Uforia, we did everything from development, production, post-production and more. We brought together the best team possible for executing high-quality music videos, including our in-house director, who created a unique style and theme for each music video (there were 5 in total). We also created eight unique behind-the-scenes videos that rolled out onto Flama’s YouTube channel as bonus content for their viewers. We quickly adapted from day to day in each new location, and created a product that both Univision and Chachi fell in love with.
